cooking heroes

Learning to cook from an early age has to be one of the most fun, creative and useful skills for children to acquire. Many studies show that if children are supported in experimenting with food, they are more likely to cook for themselves in adulthood. Our mission at CHEW is to encourage all to get stuck in and enjoy the joys of simple ingredients.

Who better to inspire us all than the pros who make cooking their daily fun? In the latest edition of CHEW - all about cooking - we speak to three of our favourite chefs, who share why they love cooking every day and give us some insightful tips on how to embrace it.

Executive Chef Arun Tilak from the exceptional Dishoom, tells us that patience is our best friend.

TV Chef Judy Joo reminds us that making a mess means we are learning.

Street Food Chefs Joseph Yiu and Christine Siu from Shoduko encourage us to experiment with as many ingredients as possible.

To read their full interviews, CHEW Vol 4 is available to buy here. If you'd like to inspire your children with more amazing chef interviews, feel free to listen to this episode of our Happy Podcast for Kids
