What is making us happy this week? These:

Here are a few random things that make us happy on this last week of July:

  • COLOUR IN - Pre-historical beasts and an octopus goalkeeper: these are the guests of our new free colouring sheets, available for download here.
  • PLAY - We have added these beautifully-illustrated flash cards to our online shop, perfect for those wanting to learn the alphabet.
  • GIVE - For every book you buy from the excellent Lantana Publishing, they give one to a hospitalised child.
  • VISIT - The Tates (Modern, Britain and Liverpool) have re-opened with new rules and excellent exhibitions from Steve McQueen and Andy Warhol
  • COOK - Our Ben introduced us to a cake from Yorkshire called Parkin, which we had never heard of. We reckon it deserves to be the new banana cake!
  • WATCH - Once upon a time... enchanting Hungarian Tales to watch during rainy days. (thank you Emma Trithart)
  • DOWNLOAD - Our Happy Mag is now available as an app on the Google Play store.
  • QUICK - Words from our warehouse: we only have a few Mammoths edition left. Get yours before we run out!
  • WOW - The future is here: look at this mind-blowing cinema opening next year in Paris!
  • PAPER FUN - Tudor fans should head to the Mary Rose Museum's site for some brilliant free paper activities.
  • WISDOM - "We should support teachers like the national treasures that they are." In defense of our teachers by Dave Grohl.
