In August 2014, Studio Anorak worked with Hackney Council to create a very laid back Summer Fete to celebrate the launch of Dalston Square.

 There were many activities for kids and grown-ups such as: World's Smallest Bingo Hall, Portraits with The Greatest Artist on Earth (ie our resident poet Roy), Giant Egg and Spoon race, Pin the Beard game, Doodling Floor, Make Me a Totem workshop, Poetry Take-Away and much more...

The sun was part of the festivities as well as Matty the clown and his band of joyful pranksters! We had over 500 people turning up thanks to great coverage in Time Out and Urban Explorer.
