Jill and her loyal companion Dog discover that a magnificent lion is forced to join the circus and drive a toy car around in endless circles. Lion is so demoralised, his tears have started to blur the words of the story. Jill decides to jump in and rescue Lion, landing in a particularly dangerous chapter, but with Dog at her side nothing is too difficult for Jill to conquer.
