The UK Scout Association approached Studio Anorak to design a log and activity book for their youngest members, the Beavers.
In keeping with the ANORAK ethos, this character-driven 36 pages logbook is fun, colourful and designed for both boys and girls aged between 5 and 8 years. The book is distributed to young people when they join the Colony, or when they are invested.. As well as supporting and recording achievement of badges/awards, it contains space to colour in their necker/scarf and record details about their Colony, introductory information about Scouting, and space to record their Promise and their investiture.
We created a set of 4 characters and their leaders who introduce each game and activity in the book, which was vetted by Scouts Leaders and existing Beavers too. More details about the book can be found here.
